BENEFITS

MO and MT messages

MO & MT messages

Supports both mobile originated and mobile terminated SMS. The SMS originated by the subscriber is routed to PINNACLE SMSC by the MSC and it is stored in the SMSC database. Then it is forwarded to the destination subscriber. Mobile terminated messages are submitted by different SMEs by using the available SMPP or HTTP interfaces.
Long length message

Supports concatenated SMS more than 160 characters. The messages are pushed as multi part SMS and those segments get concatenated in the handset.
Priority

Priority

ESME accounts can be set with different priority. The messages submitted by the high priority accounts will have more priority and can be processed first.
Delivery Receipts

Delivery Receipts

The system pushes the delivery receipts instantly to the ESMEs over the connectivity provided to them (SMPP or HTTP). This enable the ESME to identify which are the SMS that got delivered and those failed with reasons.
Retry Mechanism

Retry Mechanism

Built in retry mechanism configurable to get maximum success rate. Apart from this retry mechanism, if the subscriber is not in network, a flag is set at HLR so that when he comes back to network, the SMSC will push the messages again.
Multilingual and Binary Support

Multilingual & Binary Support

The platform supports Unicode and Binary messages. Multilingual SMS and ring tone, WAP links etc. can be send with ease. This can be done over SMPP, HTTP and through the web interface.
Customer Care Interface

Transactions Per Second

Transactions Per Second

The SMSC platform can support more than 5000 SMS per second by using relevant signalling links. This is further scalable.
Bulk Messaging

Bulk Messaging

Subscriber base for bulk messaging can be uploaded by using the SMPP account, HTTP account or by using the web interface provided. The SMPP/HTTP/Web user accounts can be created over the GUI and be given to third party users.
Black List

Black List

The operator can configure a subscriber's MSISDN as black listed based on various reasons, the messages for these numbers will not be processed. The logs of such records will be maintained in the platform's database.
Redundancy

Redundancy

The SMSC platform works on redundancy mode. In case the primary server goes down, the secondary server takes charge of the primary server and start the processing of the data, there is no data loss in such case.
SMS to Email

SMS to Email

The platform has the option to send Email on the occurrence an MT message to a particular number. The number and the corresponding email address has to be stored at the platform.
Email to SMS

Email to SMS
